Overview

We have worked alongside several foundation designers, providing independent load model development (including coupled model analysis) and naval architecture support. Our primary support to foundation designers has been in development of their internal load modelling capability from our experience in execution of floating wind project.

These include:

  • Load analysis toolchain development;
  • Turbine modelling approaches, modification or development of models for project specific analysis;
  • DLC definition, justification and prioritisation through our insights in floating wind;
  • Turbine control feature development and tuning to enable representative load assessment;
  • Certification support; and
  • Naval design verification studies.

We have also provided direct load analysis execution support for the delivery of foundation performance results supporting the overall designer’s bid for selection.
