About Green Shipping Corridors

In the last UN Conference on Climate Change (COP26) in November 2021, the UK together with 23 countries signed up to implement and pioneer Green Shipping Corridors that aim to help the maritime industry reach Net Zero by 2050. However, for this to happen, users need to understand the feasibility, risks, and opportunities involved in Green Shipping Corridors.

 

What we offer:

  • Managing & optimising asset usage - Creating a Digital Twin of Green Corridor infrastructure tracking assets and visualising refuelling depots, based on modelling different scenarios.
  • Develop algorithms for refuelling capacity - Identifying refuelling capacity of fuels on a day-to-day basis for ports.
  • Calculate environmental impacts from being part of the corridor - Building a ship vs emissions matrix showing emissions per ship type and size on alternative fuel compared to HF.
  • Geo-fence green corridor routes & narrow/congested areas of interest - Highlight refuelling depots and capacity along the corridor.
  • Through technical capability - having delivered case studies for major companies and government departments, we understand technologies such as hydrogen that could be used to power the shipping industry of the future.
