Frazer-Nash are delighted to announce that Nicole Lee, Consultant, was awarded Nuclear Institute (NI) Young Generation Network (YGN) Excellence Prize 2022 winner at the YGN Annual Dinner held at the Cardiff National Museum last night.
The YGN Excellence Prize is awarded to newcomers to the Nuclear Industry with less than five years’ nuclear experience, who have gone above and beyond the roles required of them. There is a specific emphasis on the individual’s achievement to promote the nuclear industry and fulfilment of the YGN Mission, “To encourage and develop the UK’s early career nuclear professionals, and ensure that their voice is heard in shaping the future of our sector”.
The award is an attempt to recognise these individuals and their accomplishments over their brief time within the industry.
Nicole, who joined Frazer-Nash in 2018, comments:
“I am so pleased to have received this award and hope to continue to make nuclear part of the discussion on clean energy transitions; working alongside my colleagues at Frazer-Nash and across the sector to help shape nuclear into an industry of choice.”
Rupert Bridges, Chief Operating Officer at Frazer-Nash said:
“It’s fantastic to see this prestigious recognition for Nicole as an inspiration to everyone around her and in the nuclear sector. Her win here embodies the Frazer-Nash spirit of striving to be the best at what we do and underlines Nicole’s care, commitment and professionalism in her role. I look forward to witnessing the next steps Nicole takes in her career"
Saralyn Thomas, YGN Chair, 2022 comments:
“The YGN committee was absolutely blown away by everything Nicole has achieved in her short time in the industry. She is a role model and inspiration to many of us and we commend her for everything she has done to further Equality, Diversity and Inclusion within the industry and her work in outreach which is incredibly important to the YGN. Nicole is a very worthy winner so really well done on this achievement!”
