Frazer-Nash is headline sponsor for the Devon and Plymouth Chamber of Commerce (DPCC) Charity Golf Day on 30 June, being held in support of local children’s charity, Jeremiah's Journey.
Golfers at all levels are being invited to form teams of four to take part in the event, being held in association with Boringdon Park Golf Club, and will be competing for a range of individual and team prizes. The entry fee, of £190 per team of four, includes bacon rolls on arrival and a two-course dinner after your round.
Frazer-Nash Business Manager, Ivor Humphrey, describes the work that the charity does:
“Jeremiah’s Journey is a Plymouth-based charity that offers support to children, young people and families who are suffering from bereavement, or are anticipating the death of someone special. It works to help children through their grief in a way that feels most appropriate to them, and has continued to deliver ‘virtual’ support during the Coronavirus pandemic.
“One of our core values at Frazer-Nash is ‘We Care’ – about our people, our environment and our communities. It is this principle which motivates us, and underpins our inspiration to support this event. As a local business, just a stone’s throw from the Jeremiah’s Journey headquarters, we believe working with local organisations makes us all stronger.
“We’re looking forward to a successful day’s golf, and to connecting with other local businesses whilst having fun and raising money for a great cause.”
The day will include an auction/raffle, hosted by Jeremiah’s Journey representatives, during the prize presentations at around 6pm.
