Frazer-Nash Consultancy has been chosen as one of the finalists in the 2022 Maritime UK Awards’ Employer of the Year category.
The awards, which are being held at the Glasgow Science Centre on 10 March, recognise the very best of the UK’s maritime sector, and are awarded to both individuals and businesses, charities, colleges and universities, across a wide range of areas including business growth, innovation, sustainability and diversity.
Celebrating the company’s place in the final, Group Business for Ships and Weapons, Paul Havron said:
“We’re really pleased to have been shortlisted as a finalist in the Employer of the Year category for the Maritime UK Awards 2022 in Glasgow, sponsored by BAE Systems, alongside Shoreham Port and the Port of Cromarty Firth. This recognises the approach we took to living our values, in particular our value ‘we care’, during the pandemic.
“Our goal was to ensure that our people had the best support they could get, which helped to keep them engaged, and motivated to deliver their outstanding skills and expertise to our clients. As part of our activities we undertook a calendar of wellbeing events, underpinned by our five wellbeing pillars: emotional, financial, social, physical and personal.”
Hosted by RTS Scotland award-winning broadcaster, Jennifer Reoch, the award ceremony will feature a keynote address from the International Trade Secretary, the Rt Hon Anne-Marie Trevelyan MP. The Department for Transport’s Clean Maritime Awards are also to be presented as part of the ceremony.
