Business Manager for Defence Space, Ali Stickings, has completed a term of service as Specialist Advisor to the House of Commons Defence Select Committee recently.
Ali advised the Committee throughout their Space Defence inquiry which commenced in June 2021. The inquiry sought to examine the Government’s approach to developing and protecting the UK’s defence space capabilities as the sector is fundamental to modern warfare and security.
She obtained the role having previously given evidence to the Committee as a recognised expert in the field.
“It was an amazing opportunity to help the Committee with their inquiry. I got a great insight into their role, and it’s very rewarding to see the report address the challenges and opportunities within Defence Space.”
