Community

We understand the importance of supporting the community to help create a better world.

Supporting the community

Our services are just a part of what Frazer-Nash is about. We understand the importance of supporting the community to help create a better world, and it is our people that play a key role in making our community initiatives successful.

Our people are our greatest asset, and we encourage them to actively participate in community projects taking place near the Frazer-Nash offices where they work. This gives us all the opportunity to play a part in community life, and contribute to helping those who might benefit from our assistance.

STEM

For Frazer-Nash supporting Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematic (STEM) outreach is fundamental. We are committed to enabling our staff to undertake outreach activities to educate, inspire and motivate students whether it’s for personal development or to encourage the next generation of young people to consider a career in a STEM subject.

In line with our values of ‘we care’ and ‘we want to do things that matter’, Frazer-Nash is dedicated to providing equal opportunity and support to all staff who wish to undertake STEM outreach activities that align with our company values and behaviours. By undertaking outreach programmes in schools, colleges and extra-curricular groups we can help further cultivate growth in the UK’s workforce with passionate and talented individuals.

Give as you earn

We set up 'Care & Share' to enable us to interact with both local and national charities across the UK. We encourage our people to make contributions to charitable organisations through this payroll giving scheme and, if they participate in a sponsored event, we add a top-up contribution to their fundraising total. This contribution comes from a fund taken from the Frazer-Nash annual profits, and is managed by a volunteer committee within the company.

Education for children

In the UK, our work with school children plays an important part in our involvement within the local community. We help them to understand what being an engineer is like, which will perhaps encourage them to follow a career based around science or engineering. At a local level, we have worked with schools through regional organisations such as Surrey SATRO and EngineeringUK, participating in their national Big Bang Fairs. Much of this work is carried out by our engineers in their own time, with support and funding provided by Frazer-Nash where needed.
